Jane Peterer founded JPMC Music Inc. (BMI) and GlobeSound Inc. (ASCAP) in 1996 after a long and highly successful tenure as director of the Pick International record label and as a print music specialist in Switzerland. Since 1984, she has also served as the adminstrator of the Bridgeport Music Inc. catalog, which includes some of the most influential funk bands ever recorded, most notably Parliament, Funkadelic, and The Ohio Players.

JPMC Music's ever-growing publishing catalog covers a wide variety of musical styles and our newest additions include the alternative rock band Elephantbear; jazz vibraphonist Tim Collins; jazz great Rickey Kelly; contemporary classical pianist Val Galaktionov; avant-garde performer Kento Masuda; and English tenor singer Brian Rodford.

Our offices moved from New York City to the heart of beautiful downtown Burlington, Vermont in the fall of 2001.
